Phase 1: Branding

The first step was to reimagine a brand identity that resonates with a more modern aesthetic, privileging simplicity over mystification, yet retaining sophistication. Through art direction, branding strategy, language and visual designs the goal was to evoke a trustworthy, warm and a familiar vibe.

Research and Discovery

I delved deep into understanding the client’s business, target market, competition, and industry trends. Through in-depth analysis and market research, I uncover insights that inform the brand strategy. This includes defining the brand’s positioning, values, personality, and desired perception in the market.

Brand Identity Design

I have always looked at absorbing more of the company DNA as a very important process when re-imagining a brand.

Armed with a solid strategy, I embark on the creative journey of crafting a distinctive brand identity. This entails creating a captivating visual representation of the brand through logo design, color palette selection, typography choices, and other visual elements. I skillfully weave these elements together to create a cohesive and impactful brand identity that captures the essence of the brand and resonates with its target audience.

The goal was to create visually compelling assets that leave a lasting impression and reinforce the brand’s values and messaging.

In designing the logo, I opted for a minimalistic stylization of the S of Simbal, and organized all branded content into an easy-to-follow brand book. By carefully applying the brand’s visual language to these touch points, I ensured consistency and create a cohesive brand experience across different mediums.

I created a comprehensive brand guidelines with clear instructions on how to use and apply the brand elements consistently. This includes guidelines on logo usage, color palettes, typography, tone of voice, and imagery style. These guidelines serve as a valuable resource for the client and any external partners, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand representation across all communication channels

Phase 2: Product Design

Simbals caters primary to a b2b audience with technical and non-technical backgrounds. The visuals and site flow needed to be intuitive and clean, evoking a trustworthy, warm and somehow familiar vibe.

Value Proposition

The value proposition emphasized how the company’s offerings addressed the specific needs and pain points of its target audience. through market research and I identified 5 pain point of the industry, researched possible solutions and finally how Simbals can be of help

On the website front, I wanted to create a simple, yet captivating user experience that would resonate with visitors on a human and relatable level. To achieve this, I decided to incorporate storytelling as a central theme throughout the website.

To maintain a balance between storytelling and the necessary information, I positioned key benefits and advantages that set the company apart from its competitors right at the top of the page, ensuring Value propositions were clear, backed up by concise copy content, and strategically placed calls-to-action,

User Journey

Through user journey analysis during the branding process, a common pain point was identified. To address this, a new feature was added to the product, increasing onboarding conversion.

User testing and feedback were collected to validate the effectiveness of the feature, leading to iterative improvements. The addition of the new feature showcased the brand’s commitment to improving user experience and strengthened its value proposition
